Founded in 1997 by Diane E. Mason, HR Proactive Inc. was built on the belief that workplace issues are better prevented than simply addressed after they occur.

Before founding HR Proactive, Diane worked as a Human Rights Mediator and Investigator with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, where she saw firsthand the impact of harassment, discrimination and conflict on individuals and organizations. That experience shaped our focus on developing a Canadian and American line of products that focuses on prevention through education, an approach that continues today.

For nearly three decades, we have drawn on hundreds of investigations and organizational audits to develop training and digital learning products informed by the issues employers face. As entrepreneurs, we have embraced technology to expand how that knowledge is shared, including our own HR Pro Hosted Learning Management System, where we host and manage online training. We also provide our legislative specific compliance training in customized SCORM Training files to be uploaded to our client’s LMS.
